Cancellation Policy

No smoking on premises. Pets are allowed for a fee and based on a ‘per case’ approval. Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

The Space

This big home is an open floor plan and perfect for large groups! It is 3500 sq ft and sleep 15 comfortably with plenty of space to gather inside and outside.

Only a mile from Bradford lake and 5 minutes to Otsego lake, you can enjoy time on the water too!

In this home you’ll have a HUGE walk-in entranceway, mudroom, laundry room complete with a laundry folding table and washer/dryer. The kitchen has a large island with 4 barstools and plenty of stocked cabinets. Enjoy a large farmhouse table with seating for 10.
Also in the kitchen/dining is a coffee bar with multiple tea options. Enjoy a toasty, quiet breakfast with the gas fireplace for ambient lighting.

you’ll love the step down living room with plenty of seating for a crowd. This 20×20 room boasts hardwood flooring, a very large smart TV, dvd player and beautiful windows to overlook the gorgeous backyard and wildlife. The livingroom has two couches, a rocking chair and two lazy boy recliners.
Also in the livingroom is a small desk for your remote work. High speed internet/wifi is available at this property.


Off of the kitchen is a large 5×10 walk in pantry. Off the hallway is another bathroom.

The main level has a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. This room has two dressers and two closets. There is also a closet in the bathroom.
The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, and a triple bunk. This room also has a large closet and two dressers.

The lower level has 1 bedroom with two bunk beds, a closet, and two dressers. Also enjoy a private bathroom.
The lower level has a complete personal gym with weights, treadmill and other exercise equipment. There is a large screen smart TV.
In the lower level is a comfortable seating area with a comfortable futon for additional sleeping. Also for additional sleeping are two, twin roll away beds.

Have children or family members who like to play games? Enjoy our extensive collection of board and card games downstairs with a table and seating for 8.

Guests are welcome to use the two car garage that is attached to the house. Snowmobiles are welcome inside the garage if you have lifts off of the floor. There are also cushions for the outdoor furniture that guests are welcome to use.
If your stay is in the winter, guests are welcome to use any sleds or snow shovels that are available. We even have a boot dryer available for our guests.

Outdoors you’ll love seeing the wildlife that comes in the yard. From squirrels to deer, birds and sometimes fox, you’ll see beautiful nature all around. In the backyard are apple trees that are fun during the autumn to pick with your family, or enjoy hiking our trails that connect to thousands of acres of state property.
Also in the backyard is a very nice swing set with slide and teeter totter. Your children will love to play here in the sunshine. Invite some friends for a BBQ with our flat top grill on warm summer evenings.

Are you a hunter? Our property is connected to thousands of acres of state property. Use the trails and enjoy yourself!

Downtown Gaylord is approximately 15 min drive
Traverse city is just over an hour – Traverse city airport is 1hr 15 min drive depending on traffic
Treetops golf & ski area is an 16 min drive
Otsego golf & ski area is a 15 min drive
Michaywe golf is a literal stone’s throw about 3-8 min drive depending on the course you are playing!
Get around the neighborhood on your ATV or Golf Cart!
Swimming at Otsego Lake is a 5 minute drive.

Guest Access

The house, the attached garage. There is a pole barn on the property that is not for guest use.

Other Things To Note

Please do not invite guests that are not included in the reservation.

We have a security camera that records 24/7 at the front door, and you will be charged a fee for any unauthorized guests. If these cameras are covered or vandalized, we will call the police and you will be removed from the premises.

Smoking:
Absolutely zero smoking or vaping of anything on premises. There is a minimum of $500 fine for doing so.


Pets:
We are a pet-friendly home and prefer pets less than 30 lbs, but we are willing to host larger pets with permission. We also ask that you do NOT allow pets on furniture. Please keep doggie-doo cleaned up at all times as we have a clean lawn and would like to keep it that way.

We do not allow more than 2 dogs at a time.

Unfortunately, because of insurance regulations, we are also not accepting guests with Pit Bulls, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Chows, Wolf breeds, Bulldogs, or Rottweilers.

Please NEVER leave dogs unattended/uncrated in the house when you are away. Always take them with you or crate them. The garage or bathroom is not a crate. If you’d like to purchase a crate, you are welcome to leave it at the house when you leave. We’d be happy to buy it back from you until we have a large enough supply. :)
